On Location.....
In Mobile, great weather.....but .... boat insurance we have had for years won't work here, so new company wants a marine survey. Surveyor says a new bottom paint job is needed. De Anne sanded the bottom yesterday and will finish it today. We will paint tomorrow and launch on Friday, and hopefully be back on track this weekend.

Ouch. I'm sorry to hear that retirement isn't starting off exactly as planned. :-(
What a bummer! De Anne took such good care of that boat I can't imagine ANYTHING being wrong with it! Oh well, it happened for a reason. That's the only way we can look at it! Miss you guys but happy for you and your retirement. Jim and Shannon Thompson
