We should be ready nautically with about two days of rigging and provisioning; but waiting for the new boat insurance and DeAnne's health insurance may take another week. We don't care - we are living aboard as of tonight ......getting ready to watch our first sunset in our retirement home.

Boat Afloat
We launched today! How I wish I could speak of feats of strength and daring-do; however, it was sunny, high 50's and gentle breezes. On top of all that a fellow cruiser with 20 plus years of experience rode along to help me do my first stern-to docking aganist what we northern inhabitants call telephone poles.

We should be ready nautically with about two days of rigging and provisioning; but waiting for the new boat insurance and DeAnne's health insurance may take another week. We don't care - we are living aboard as of tonight ......getting ready to watch our first sunset in our retirement home.
