Weather window watching

We are poised to get under way again. The hot weather broke last weekend, but ushered in high winds. We have several memories of the wave action in the shallow Gulf during winds of 20 knots and wish no encore. Friday now looks good on paper, but final judgement is reserved.

The boat is stocked high and tight. We have paper towels and toilet paper for 4 months - barring unforseen complications - none of which would ever be reported here.

Our last weekend (maybe) in Fort Myers called for a visit to a Sanjah performance on Friday. Saturday was ZombieCon 09 day, commemorating the filimg of Night of the Living Dead (or some zombie movie) in Fort Myers. The best part was watching the belly dancer while that old zombie disco favorite "Staying Alive" was playing. Of course De Anne noted, and I quote, "I can do that!".

We visited Cecilia and Denny in Punta Gorda last night and had a great time swapping cruising stories and reminiscing about Four Winds Marina on Lake Monroe where we first met them.

Watch for action on Google Maps, and play connect the dots with us.
